Our mission

Cycling Roses aims to promote the benefits of adapted sport in the fight against cancer, both during and after treatment.

We believe that adapted sport plays a key role in healing and beyond, by restoring strength and confidence, and helping women rebuild their lives after illness.

Cancer impacts both the body and the mind. Adapted sport empowers women to reclaim their bodies and proves that they are capable of pushing their limits and conquering new horizons after the disease.

9 M

of women with cancer worldwide

50 %

of women in remission from cancer report loss of confidence due to physical changes

40 %

Reducing the risk of recurrence by practicing appropriate physical activity during remission

To carry this message, we have chosen to set out and meet those who are its living proof, through a unique 25,000 km cycling adventure from Alaska to Patagonia.

  • Promote adapted sport as a tool for resilience and well-being during and after chemotherapy and radiotherapy

  • Give a voice to 12 women across 15 countries who have faced cancer and used sport as a driver of recovery

  • Create a fundraising to support to 3 non profits dedicated to helping women affected by cancer

The documentary

At every stage of the journey, we meet women who have faced cancer and found their way back through adapted sport — whatever the discipline, whatever the level.

Their stories of courage and resilience will be gathered in a documentary film to inspire thousands of other women fighting the disease to regain confidence, strength, and the will to move forward.

If you would like to share your story, or know someone who would like to be part of the journey, don’t hesitate to reach out to us!
